Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
This policy explains what information Callout Digital collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
It covers our website, our quote and booking forms, and any email or text-message communication you opt into.
We keep it plain. If anything here is unclear, email
hello@calloutdigital.com.
01Who We Are
Callout Digital (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a digital marketing agency based in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia,
Canada. We build websites, brand identities, SEO, and paid-advertising systems for small and mid-sized businesses.
We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
02Information We Collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our services.
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, business name, email address, phone number, and website URL when you submit a quote request or book a call.
- Project details — anything you tell us about your business, goals, or current marketing so we can prepare a quote.
- Communication records — emails, text messages, call notes, and form submissions you send us.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, and referring source, collected through analytics tools.
- Device data — browser type, device type, and approximate location (city/region) derived from your IP address.
- Cookies — small files that help the site function and let us measure performance. See Section 07.
03How We Use Your Information
- To respond to quote requests and schedule calls.
- To prepare and deliver the services you engage us for.
- To send you account, project, and appointment communications.
- To send marketing or promotional messages — only where you have given consent, and only until you opt out.
- To improve our website, measure ad performance, and keep our systems secure.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
04Text Messaging (SMS) & Mobile Opt-In
We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer mobile opt-in information or consent to receive SMS — to any third party or affiliate — for any purpose, including marketing.
Phone numbers collected for the purpose of SMS communication are never shared with anyone for their own marketing, and they are not passed to affiliates.
If you provide your phone number and agree to receive text messages, we may send you appointment confirmations,
quote follow-ups, and service-related updates. Where you have separately opted in, we may also send promotional messages.
- Consent is optional. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of getting a quote or using our services.
- Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- To stop messages, reply STOP at any time. You’ll receive one confirmation and no further texts.
- For help, reply HELP or email hello@calloutdigital.com.
Our SMS messaging is delivered through third-party messaging infrastructure (GoHighLevel / Twilio) acting solely as
our service provider. They process messages on our behalf and do not use your number for their own marketing.
05How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We share information only in these limited cases, with providers acting on our instructions:
- Service providers — our CRM, email, scheduling, messaging, hosting, payment, and analytics vendors who process data solely to operate our business. These vendors are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes.
- Legal requirements — where we’re required to disclose information by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- Business transfers — if our business is merged or acquired, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Mobile opt-in and SMS consent data is excluded from all sharing, as stated in Section 04.
06Data Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law.
Quote-request data for prospects who don’t engage us is retained for up to 24 months, then deleted.
Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterward for legal and tax purposes.
You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 09).
07Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use it.
We use analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel) to measure performance and the
effectiveness of our ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the site works.
08How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against loss, misuse, and
unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to your data to those who need it to do their job.
09Your Rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s
Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you,
ask us to correct it, withdraw consent, or request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, email
hello@calloutdigital.com and we’ll respond within the timeframes required by law.
10Third-Party Links
Our site and messages may link to third-party websites we don’t control. This policy doesn’t cover their practices —
review their privacy policies separately.
11Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
12Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top.
Material changes will be posted on this page.
